The trailer to the sequel of Rupert Sanders’ hit flick “Snow White And The Huntsman” is out now. The film titled “The Huntsman: Winter War” has reprised some of the stars from the sequel but has been made without its original “Snow White” A.K.A Kristen Stewart.

The newly-dropped trailer is high on visual effects as the sequel has been helmed by debut director Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, who won an Oscar nomination for Best Visual Effects for “Snow White And The Huntsman.”

“Snow White And The Huntsman” was one amongst the most successful films in 2012. Made with a budget of $170 million, it succeeded in earning approximately $400 million internationally, thus, qualifying for a sequel.

The film revolves around Chris Hemsworth after Snow White’s character was eliminated from her own story. Emily Blunt and Charlize Theron play the key roles of Freya the Ice Queen and Ravenna the Evil Queen respectively. Jessica Chastain has essayed the role of a warrior named Sara, who eventually becomes the lady love of “Thor” actor Hemsworth.

This trailer of this dark fantasy, action-adventure film surely reminds us about the Angelina Jolie starrer “Maleficent” in terms of visuals and the screenplay. In the backdrop, it is the track of Halsey’s “Castle,” which amalgamates aptly with the visuals in the trailer.

The trailer that was released on Wednesday has become viral over the Internet and has received 1,171,664 views so far. The trailer justifies Universal Studio’s decision to shift the focus to the Huntsman from Snow White as Hemsworth has managed to pull off his role quite well. The scintillating visuals and the amazing star cast are the USPs of the trailer, which leaves the viewers lost in the world of imagination.

Just like Stewart, Sanders too has been shelved in this flick owing to his infidelity scandal. The director and actress Stewart had a brief affair and cheated on their respective partners during the shoot of “Snow White and the Huntsman.”

Joe Roth’s production venture “The Huntsman: Winter War” is slated to be released on April 22, 2016 in the United States.
