Latest HTC One 2 concept image shows off a unique physical design and sporting a new HTC Sense 6.0 UI and Android 4.4 Kitkat OS.

Jinesh Shah designed the new render and in his Google+ account, he posted the photos of HTC One 2 a.k.a. HTC M8. The concept image focused more on the user interface and the operating system than what is under the hood.

One noticeable feature of the concept is its unusual design that combined sharp and round edges. BlinkFeed area and in the home screen and lock screen are also seen in the render.

According to a new report from DigiTimes citing "industry sources," HTC One 2 will sport a sapphire home button similar to that of iPhone 5S. The home button may also be embedded with fingerprint sensor and users may still have to swipe their fingers and not simply press on the security feature.

HTC already released a smartphone with fingerprint sensor. HTC One Max boasts a fingerprint sensor but it was placed at the back of the device. Moreover, the device fell below the expectations of consumers.

According to the rumors, HTC One 2 will pack a 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor and Adreno 330 GPU and 2 GB RAM for faster processing. The handset will also pack a 5-inch full HD screen display 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and a higher ultrapixel rear camera. Moreover, the HTC One 2 will be housed in a metal casing like its predecessor. However, HTC has not made any official announcement yet on the features and release date of the device.

Speaking of release date, HTC One 2 is expected to be released at Mobile World Congress event in February as the first generation of HTC One made a splash at MWC 2013.
