You might consider transferring your “Clash of Clans” progress from your old iOS to a new device. Previously, transferring is not possible on all iOS devices, but you may now fix the problem by upgrading to newer iOS versions and doing a number of steps.

Here are the guidelines on how to transfer your “Clash of Clans” game from an old to a new iOS device.

1. Start by downloading then installing iExplore on your Mac or computer.

2. Next, connect your old iOS device to your computer or Mac.

3. Open the iExplore window then browse to /private/var/mobile/Containers.

4. Copy the “Clash of Clans” folder to your computer or Mac.

5. Remove the old iOS device from your computer then connect the new iOS device.

6. Paste the “Clash of Clans” that was saved on your computer on the iExplore window. Paste it to the folder of the new device named /private/var/mobile/Containers. You have to paste the content to /var/mobile/Containers/Bundle/Application if your new device is operating on iOS 8.

7. Open Game Center on new device. Log in using the associated account that you use on your old iOS device.

8. Confirm to replace the new account of “Clash of Clans” by pressing Confirm.

9. You can now play your “Clash of Clans” game on the new iOS device.

You will find that all your structures and armies are just the same as you last left off on your old iOS device. With iOS and Game Center, you will be required a device linking code. You will require the two iOS devices together to enter the code.

You have to play through the tutorial on the new device and use link before your reach Town Hall level 4 and before purchasing any apps. Contact player support using the in-app reporting feature in the in-game settings menu if you need assistance or discover any issues in linking devices. This will be available in the Help & Settings option. When linking, you may also be asked to specify the device you are using.
