"How I Met Your Mother" viewers are not the only ones excited for the upcoming meeting of the future Mrs Ted Mosby and Ted's ex, Robin Scherbatsky, in the final season. Actress Cristin Milioti admitted that she is looking forward to it as well. "The Mother" and Robin meet up is undeniably one of the most anticipated scenes in "How I Met Your Mother" Season 9.

In the Seattlepi.com report, Ms Milioti revealed that the meeting of the two girls in Ted's life will be a huge one. "I think they all will go well. I am really looking forward to meeting Robin. That will be a big one. In a way, I think it's perfect closure for Ted's wife to meet his ex, who's a huge part of his life, at her wedding. He has to let Robin go before he can move on. I'm very curious to see how she'll react to her," the 28-year-old Broadway actress shared.

It has been previously revealed that Ted Mosby will be the last one to meet "The Mother," and Cristin Milioti further teased the fans that there will be an ease between her character and Ted Mosby portrayed by actor Josh Radnor. "They're a great fit and have great chemistry. She's really sweet and lovable, but she's also a nerd with the same interests and dad humor like Ted," Cristin revealed.

"She gets him. The clues that have been dropped about her over the years are not personality traits. They're like: She plays the bass. She makes breakfast foods while singing. Now you see who she is and she's a pretty big dork!," she further added.

"HIMYM" co-creators and executive producers, Carter Bays and Craig Thomas, admitted to all kinds of length they had to go through in order to keep Cristin Milioti's casting as "The Mother" top secret. The lucky actress who landed the important role admitted as well that sometimes she felt like in an undercover operation after getting cast in "How I Met Your Mother."

"I was in an out-of-body, white-hot panic from pretty much the second the plane touched down to the second my plane took me back to New York. I was taken [to the stage] on a golf cart, I was in this dark coat, it was by cover of night -- it was really, really awesome and felt like I was some sort of secret assassin. Then everyone welcomed me as the mother on set, and it was wonderful," Ms Milioti recounted in a Zap2it report.

Aside from the meeting between "The Mother" and Robin, Cristin Milioti expressed her excitement as well to the part where her character and Ted Mosby will finally meet each other. "It will play out in a much more exciting way, I think, than just the 48 hours [of the wedding weekend]. That I can say with utmost assuredness. It's going to be amazing," Ms Milioti teased.
