Actor William Zabka, the "Karate Kid" baddie, returns as a guest star in "How I Met Your Mother" Season 9. Mr Zabka made a cameo appearance in Season 8, but this time, Entertainment Weekly reports that the 47-year-old actor will be appearing in at least eight episodes in the CBS sitcom's final season.

William Zabka made his first appearance in "How I Met Your Mother" during Season 8 Episode 22 tiled "The Bro-Mitzvah," where the group of friends worked together in giving Barney Stinson the most horrible bachelor party ever. In Season 8, Mr Zabka initially hid as a clown at the bachelor party as Ted and Marshall invited "Karate Kid" co-star Ralph Macchio.

However, Barney confessed to his friends that he always considered William Zabka to be the "Karate Kid" true hero so the actor decided to reveal himself to Barney at the end. The Entertainment Weekly report further added that William Zabka could become Barney and Robin's good friend in Season 9 and also have some involvement in the upcoming wedding.

The HIMYM creators and producers wanted to keep William Zabka's guest appearance confidential, but actress Cobie Smulders, who portrays character Robin, appears to have difficulty in hiding her excitement. Ms Smulders shared on Twitter and Instagram an image of her in a "Robin Daggers" get up next to the "Karate Kid" actor on the set.

"Would you buy this bands album?" the Canadian actress posted on her Twitter account @CobieSmulders with the Instagram photo attached. In the mean time, there are other celebrity guest stars set to appear in the final season of "How I Met Your Mother."

It includes "True Blood" actress Anna Camp, who replaced "The Office" star Ellie Kemper due to work schedule conflicts, "Revenge" actor Roger Bart, Sherri Shepherd, Wayne Brady as Barney's half-brother James and actor John Lithgow as Barney's biological father Jerry.

William Zabka will be joining the "How I Met Your Mother" gang when the hit CBS sitcom returns on Monday, September 23. The finale season takes place during Robin and Barney's wedding weekend where Ted Mosby will finally meet "The Mother" of his kids.
