Summer Bay residents are about to be tested as they find themselves outside their comfort zones on the upcoming episode of “Home and Away.” On Monday, Martin “Ash” Ashford (George Mason) becomes frustrated with Irene (Lynne McGranger), who seems to have turned into a control freak when it comes to baby Luc.

A trailer shows Ash storming into Irene’s house, wanting to see Luc. However, she refuses, making him downright furious. The two get into a heated argument, both insisting their rights as they are related to the baby by blood. Spoilers suggest that Ash has another problem to deal with – his brother Patrick Stanwood (Luke McKenzie) seems to harbour a troubled past that’s affecting his present life. The upcoming episode also features Katarina Chapman (Pia Miller), Hunter King (Scott Lee) and Olivia Richards (Raechelle Banno).

The show also stars Alf Stewart (Ray Meagher), Nate Cooper (Kyle Pryor), Tori Morgan/Tessa Lee (Penny McNamee), Justin Morgan/Jack Lee (James Stewart), Brody Morgan/Bart Lee (Jackson Heywood), Mason Morgan/Michael Lee (Orpheus Pledger), Zac Macguire (Charlie Clausen), Leah Patterson-Baker (Ada Nicodemou), VJ Patterson (Matthew Little), John Palmer (Shane Withington), Marilyn Chambers (Emily Symons), Phoebe Nicholson (Isabella Giovinazzo) and Raffy Morrison ( Olivia Deeble).

Back to the Bay reports that Monday’s episode also shows Kat, who decides to dig deeper into Patrick’s past in the Army. She’s growing increasingly fearful for her and Ash’s safety – after all, Patrick tried to attack both of them. In Seven Network’s sneak peek of the March 27 episode, Kat tells Patrick that she needs to tell Ash about his nightmares and sleepwalking. She tries to help him but he dodges her offer.

Olivia and Hunter, on the other hand, continue being optimistic that they can make their rental property at least livable. However, problems seem to continue to pile up and it may not take long before the two young lovebirds throw in the towel and accept reality.

“Home and Away” recap

In the previous episode, Kat and Ash argued about Patrick, as she expressed her fears for their safety. Ash confronted his brother about what’s going on but Patrick said it’s no big deal. Kat, however, refused to ignore what’s happening and asked Ash to find out what’s wrong. She said she didn’t feel comfortable with Patrick’s presence there. Later, Ash talked to Patrick and demanded the truth from him. Patrick insisted that there’s nothing to be worried about and if Ash and Kat can’t accept him, he would just leave. When Ash shared this with Kat, she was visibly upset but he asked her to trust him. However, that night, Kat got the scare of her life when Patrick looked like he’s going to attack her.

Meanwhile, Nate and Tori were enjoying their relationship but she started questioning their relationship when he seems to avoid the topic of marriage and commitment. They bumped into Phoebe and reeled them in to help her for her engagement party preparations. Nate looked uncomfortable the entire time, offering no feedback at all. He became clearly bothered when Phoebe asked what Tori would do if she and Nate get married. The two women got ahead of themselves, driving him to take off.

Later, Tori talked to Nate and cleared the air – she and Phoebe were just joking around about weddings. Nate reminded her that he’s been married twice and both ended up as failures. Tori was furious that he was so self-centred and didn’t even ask what she thought about the whole thing. She also clarified that she didn’t want to get married but the incident made her question their relationship. That night, after seeking advice from Phoebe, Tori went over to Nate’s to sort things out. They apologised to each other and put their differences behind them.

Elsewhere, Hunter and Olivia continued to struggle making their new place at least decent enough to live in. He took a break and used it to go back home, wherein he saw Alf. Hunter whined about their house problem but asked Alf to keep it quiet from Olivia. She, on the other hand, complained to Nate and it seemed the young lovebirds had their wires crossed. Later, Olivia and Hunter kept pretending that things are going to be okay but she finally had enough and told him the truth. Energised with their honesty, the two decided to turn things around and transform their new home into something amazing.
