Summer Bay residents are about to be tested as they find themselves outside their comfort zones on the upcoming episode of “Home and Away.” On Thursday, Tori Morgan/Tessa Lee (Penny McNamee) begins to question her relationship with Nate Cooper (Kyle Pryor) when she senses his discomfort as they discuss their future, particularly about getting hitched.

In the soap’s preview video, Tori calls out Nate’s “ridiculously single-minded approach” to their relationship. She wonders to him, “Why are we even doing this?” Nate’s fears of commitment may stem from his previous marriages, which both failed. The upcoming episode also features Alf Stewart (Ray Meagher), Katarina Chapman (Pia Miller), Martin “Ash” Ashford (George Mason), Hunter King (Scott Lee), Olivia Richards (Raechelle Banno), Justin Morgan/Jack Lee (James Stewart), Brody Morgan/Bart Lee (Jackson Heywood) and Mason Morgan/Michael Lee (Orpheus Pledger).

Back to the Bay reports that Thursday’s episode also shows that Kat is starting to become concerned about the state of mind of Ash’ brother. She seems to be uncomfortable sharing the house with Patrick (Luke McKenzie), who recently arrived in town after faking his death.

In Seven Network’s sneak peek of the March 23 episode, Kat tells Ash, “Spending time with him and living with him are two different things.” Ash doesn’t want to lose his brother especially after recently losing their youngest sister. However, Kat may have a good reason to feel unsafe. When Ash checks in on his brother in the bedroom, Patrick attacks him.

Meanwhile, Hunter and Olivia faced a harsh reality when they saw their new home. A dilapidated, unsanitary and mold-infested rental is not exactly an ideal love nest for the young couple. Justin also appears in the upcoming run, as he confronts his brother about the drug stash. Brody, on the other hand, lies to his siblings about his addiction.

'Home and Away' recap

In the previous episode, Justin and Mason were goofing around Salt when their brother walked in. Brody, already stressed out with the arrival of the restaurant reviewer, snapped at them and reminded them of the importance of that day. Later, the reviewer arrived and began tasting their food. While he couldn’t find fault in the service and ambience, the reviewer criticised the dishes, noting that there’s too much going on in terms of the flavours. Brody didn’t take it too well and argued with the reviewer, even insulting him.

Later, Justin tried to comfort Brody but he’s impossible to talk to and ended up storming off. Brody then whined to Lena (Felicity McKay), who tried to downplay the situation and boosted his ego. The two ended up kissing. The next day, Brody was nowhere to be found, failing to show up at Salt. Mason shared his suspicions with Justin – Brody may be acting weird because he was taking drugs offered by Lena. Justin refused to believe Brody would do something stupid. However, when Brody finally arrived, Justin decided to snoop around and was shocked to find a drug stash in his brother’s bag.

Leah called Irene to tell her that they’re taking up on her offer to take care of Luc. VJ wasn’t too agreeable with the idea but Leah managed to convince him that it’s what’s best for the baby. The two brought Luc to Irene, who was more than willing to look at her granddaughter. Later, Leah had a moment with Irene alone and she confided to her friend about Zac’s betrayal.

The next day, Irene was too busy taking care of Luc that she failed to pick up VJ’s calls. Ash arrived and was surprised to see that a whole nursery has been set up for Luc. He wanted to hold the baby but was quite disappointed when Irene didn’t allow it. Ash sensed that Irene’s being too possessive of Luc and felt like she wanted to keep the baby permanently.

The show also stars Zac Macguire (Charlie Clausen), Leah Patterson-Baker (Ada Nicodemou), VJ Patterson (Matthew Little), Irene (Lynne McGranger), John Palmer (Shane Withington), Marilyn Chambers (Emily Symons), Phoebe Nicholson (Isabella Giovinazzo) and Raffy Morrison (Olivia Deeble).
