Back to the Bay reports that on Tuesday, Mick’s return may signify danger for Irene. “Home and Away” fans would remember that a mentally troubled Mick kidnapped Irene and kept her in an abandoned house until she was rescued. Tori, on the other hand, also gets a shocking visit from someone in her past, who appears to be Summer Bay’s new surgeon.

Seven Network posted a sneak peek of this season's pilot episode on its official website. In the trailer, Billie cries in fear as the life of her baby hangs in the balance. Meanwhile, Phoebe, John, Zac, Hunter, Matt and Evie are trapped in the abandoned shack as they wait for the firestorm to pass. Elsewhere, Mick enters Irene’s house and says, “Good day, mum,” as she gasps in shock.

“Home and Away” recap

In the previous episode, Kat and the other police officers scrambled to manage the bushfire, which threatened to head toward the venue of the Summer Groove festival. Kat called Phoebe and asked her to end the festival and get people out of the area. Meanwhile, Phoebe, John, Zac, Evie, Matt and Hunter looked for a safe place to stay. They found an old shack but before they got inside, Hunter decided to search for Olivia and Zac chased after him. Zac managed to convince Hunter to return to the shack.

Billie and VJ were stuck somewhere as her labour pains started. She ordered him to find help, forcing him to leave her by the car. VJ couldn’t go further because of the bushfire, so he returned to Billie, whose contractions are getting worse by the minute. The two hurried to get out of the fire’s way. Soon enough, they reached Kat and the rest of the team and Billie was brought to the hospital.

Elsewhere, Justin fought for his life after he got stabbed by Ranae Turner (Sacha Horler) . It looked like he’s not going to make it, but fortunately the ambulance came on time and he was rushed to the hospital. Tori bumped into Kat, who ordered her to call her other brothers to warn them about Ranae. In the meantime, Kat searched for leads to capture Ranae.
