Summer Bay deals with an emotional day as the upcoming episode of “Home and Away” centres on a father longing for his child. On Tuesday, Justin Morgan/Jack Lee (James Stewart) relentlessly tries to get ahold of his ex-girlfriend so he can see their daughter. However, Nina Gilbert (Zoe Naylor) refuses to let him become part of their child’s life.

As Justin fears he will never see his daughter again, Phoebe Nicholson (Isabella Giovinazzo) pulls out all the stops to make sure it won’t happen. Meanwhile, they might have a bigger problem to solve – it seems they are about to face another fire incident courtesy of the serial arsonist. The upcoming episode also features other “Home and Away” characters John Palmer (Shane Withington), Mason Morgan/Michael Lee (Orpheus Pledger), Olivia Richards (Raechelle Banno), Hunter King (Scott Lee), Tori Morgan/Tessa Lee (Penny McNamee) and Riley Hawkins (Ryan O'Kane).

“Home and Away” stars Alf Stewart (Ray Meagher), Nate Cooper (Kyle Pryor), Evelyn “Evie” MacGuire (Philippa Northeast), Matt Page (Alec Snow), VJ Patterson (Matthew Little), Martin “Ash” Ashford (George Mason), Katarina Chapman (Pia Miller), Leah Patterson-Baker (Ada Nicodemou), Zac Macguire (Charlie Clausen), Brody Morgan/Bart Lee (Jackson Heywood), Marilyn Chambers (Emily Symons), Irene Roberts (Lynne McGranger), Roo Stewart (Georgie Parker) and Raffy Morrison ( Olivia Deeble).

Back to the Bay reports that Tuesday’s episode also features Hunter, who unintentionally causes a rift between Mason and Olivia. Tori, on the other hand, tries to give Riley a second chance but works to make sure she has the upper-hand during their date.

Seven Network posted a sneak peek of the Feb. 21 episode on its official website. In the trailer, Mason confronts Hunter if he’s trying to win Olivia back but Hunter says they have both moved on. Hunter tells Olivia that the only way they can properly move on is if they stopped being in each other’s lives.

Elsewhere, Justin continues to have no luck with getting through to Nina, who even changed her number. Determined to help, Phoebe stalked Nina online and sent her a message about Justin’s request to see their daughter, Ava (Grace Thomas).

“Home and Away” recap

In the previous episode, Justin consoled Phoebe, who was also mourning Billie’s (Tessa de Josselin) death. While she’s resting, Justin enlisted Raffy and Ellie’s help to clean the place up, while Brody pitched in to cook for her. Meanwhile, Justin was having a hard time reaching out to his ex about their daughter. Phoebe felt something was up but Justin tried to shield her from her problems. However, she can’t bear the thought of him keeping another secret and confronted Justin about it.

Later, Justin admitted the truth to Phoebe: his ex told him to stay away from her and their daughter. It was Phoebe’s turn to comfort Justin and encouraged him to fight for Ava. Justin expressed his hesitations but Phoebe insisted that she needs her dad as much as he needs his daughter.

Olivia tried to manage The Pier without Irene, Leah and Marilyn, getting some help from Evie and Matt. Hunter also dropped by to offer a hand in the kitchen and the two bonded over running the place. Later after closing, Olivia realised that amid the chaos at The Pier, she hasn’t given much thought to their friend, VJ. Hunter comforted her and they shared a warm moment. Olivia said she missed being with Hunter and it looked like they were about to kiss, but he pulled away and walked off.

Meanwhile, Evie was having second thoughts about her Greece trip with Matt and Ellie. She felt it’s not the right time to go on a holiday while they’re still grieving over Billie. Alf advised them to go ahead and Matt agreed – if there’s anyone who deserves a holiday, it’s Evie. Later, Evie got a letter saying that her application for a one-year scholarship in Vietnam has been accepted.
