‘Home and Away’ spoilers for Aug 1: Justin and Phoebe find the elusive book; Tori’s life is in danger

An action-packed episode awaits fans as “Home and Away” opens the week. On Monday, Phoebe Nicholson (Isabella Giovinazzo) and Justin Morgan (James Stewart) are finally able to track down the black book that the mob wants. They go one step ahead of Spike, but soon discover that instead of putting an end to the Morgans’ misery, they just made things worse. Their action results to dire consequences, putting Tori Morgan (Penny McNamee) in a precarious situation.

Back to the Bay reports that Kat’s nightmares aren’t over – she finds out that she’s being dragged to Ash’s legal troubles. Meanwhile, Chris blasts Brody for allegedly stealing customers and a restaurant war ensues. Elsewhere, Justin and Phoebe work together to fond the elusive book that the mob is looking for.

Seven Network posted a sneak peek of this week’s episodes. The trailer shows Phoebe and Justin as they search for the book. Upon finding it, they collaborate with the police to get Spike arrested. Spike warns Justin that he just made things worse, and to “say goodbye to your sister for me.” In another scene, Tori gets into a small plane with other passengers with Duncan as the pilot. [READ: “‘Home and Away’ update: Benedict Wall auditioned for another role in Aussie soap”] As the plane takes off, Justin can be seen chasing it as he screams for Tori’s name.

“Home and Away” recap

Last week, Nate bumped into Tori and informed her that he broke up with Danika, in the hopes of sparking things back again with Tori. However, she just said that she hopes Nate meets someone else, practically closing that door of opportunity. Nate walked out, but Chris won’t let the issue go. He asked why Tori seemed to be cold toward Nate and she said that she heard of Nate’s reputation. Based on what she learned, Nate’s a serial womaniser and can’t seem to commit.

Chris didn’t waste any time sharing this piece of information with Nate. Chris encouraged him to set things straight with Tori. The two shared quite a lot of drinks and talked about Nate’s love troubles. Totally drunk, Nate went over to Tori’s house to clarify that he’s not a love rat. He also confessed about his feelings for her, but she kicked him out of her house. However, things may not be as bad as it seemed – Tori smiled as Nate went out the door.

Tabitha continued to talk bad about Hunter in front of Olivia. Later, Hunter confronted Olivia for missing class. Olivia, who thought Hunter said some rude things about her to Tabitha, was completely angry at Hunter. Oliva lashed at him and told him to stay away from her. Later, Olivia shared the encounter with Irene, who couldn’t believe Hunter can say all those things about Olivia. Irene was also getting suspicious about Tabitha’s odd behaviour. Irene commented that Tabitha’s a little too intense, but Olivia said her friend is just protective of her. During dinner, Hunter tried to approach Olivia for a talk but she won’t hear any of it.

Phoebe told Brody that she slept with Justin. Brody warned her to stay away from his brother, and was abrasive towards her throughout the day. When Phoebe called his attitude out, Brody admitted that it had something to do with Justin. Brody was worried that Justin would her Phoebe just as he did to the Morgans. Seeing that he’s not getting through to Phoebe, Brody stormed to the garage and ordered Justin to leave Phoebe alone. Justin accused him of being jealous. Later, Phoebe arrived with Justin’s bags on the living room. He admitted that hooking up with her was a bad idea. Their conversation got cut short, however, when Spike turned up at the door, telling Justin that they need to have a little chat.
