2013 is just around the corner and of course that would bring another wave of Hollywood "It" girls. Before that happens, here are the Hollywood "It" Girls of 2012. Bask in the beauty of Hollywood hotties, from "Hunger Games" Jennifer Lawrence to "Twilight's" Kristen Stewart plus many more.

Jennifer Lawrence owned almost half the year all thanks to the film adaptation of Suzanne Collins' best-selling novels, "The Hunger Games." Lawrence might have been popular all to her Oscar nominated role as Ree in "Winter's Bone" but her popularity boosted even more thanks to the role of Katniss Everdeen. Right after the "Games", Lawrence went on to gracing multiple fashion magazine covers and signing on to a few more films of which include "House at the End of the Street" and the upcoming "Silver Linings Playbook" opposite Bradley Cooper.

Kristen Stewart, Hollywood's favorite "It" girl, continues to be on the charts. Thanks to "Twilight", Stewart's career has gone nowhere but straight up. Stephanie Meyer's best-selling novels the "Twilight Saga" might have ended but Stewarts' career after that had continued. Kristen's other films include "Snow White and the Huntsman", "On the Road" and upcoming dark flick, "Lie Down in the Darkness."

Emma Stone is another Hollywood "It" Girl making waves this year and hopefully until the next. Stone has been named "Vogue's Best Dressed Celebrity of 2012" and has graced a lot of fashion magazines as of late. Emma's film "The Amazing Spiderman" opposite Andrew Garfield has garnered positive feedback which has made Marvel fans ready for more.

The "Harry Potter" era might have ended but the magic continues with one of the threes' brightest stars, Emma Watson. Watson had not only made it big in the fashion business as the face of Lancôme but she also made it big in films outside of "Potter." Emma had starred in the highly-anticipated film adaptation of "Perks of Being a Wallflower" opposite Logan Lerman and Ezra Miller. Watson's other flicks coming out by next year include "Bling Ring" and "Beauty & the Beast." The "Potter" star is also set to release a music album by next year.

Rooney Mara made it big this year with her acting stint and kick-ass moves for the film, "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo." Mara also appeared on Vanity Fair's annual Hollywood issue featuring the best and brightest stars of 2012.

Other Hollywood "It" girls who have made waves in the film and music industry are Lily Collins, Elizabeth Olsen, Lana Del Ray, Annasophia Robb and Selena Gomez.
