2012 is almost over and so will be the world - if December 21 really is the apocalypse. However, putting that aside, here is a list to round up the most searched break-ups in Hollywood this 2012.

Topping the "Most Searched Breakup of 2012" is the Pacquiao-hater, Justin Bieber and the 20-year-old singer/actress, Selena Gomez. Shockinly, "Twilight's" Pattinson and Stewart's break-up failed to hit the number 1 spot. The "Jelena" split has been talk of the town especially because a lot of people rejoiced when Gomez finally realized that she has been dating a girl. Yet, rumor has it, the break-up was all a publicity stunt and thanks to that the limelight is once more on them.

Next to "Jelena" is the Twilight stars, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Again, a big thanks to Stewarts cheating skills. Well, almost eveyone is not shocked about the scandal since everyone had obviously foreseen Stewart likelihood of cheating on Pattinson. Also, a big thanks to the paparazzi for making a good job on unearthing the photos of Stewart with Director Rupert Sanders.

In at third place is Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes - which proves that looks can be deceiving. Despite the obvious that the couple showed off as lovebirds, everything was all for stunts and the couple had shocked everyone with their divorce. The famous "TomKat" divorced earlier this year in June and Holmes got the custody of their offspring, Suri. Rumors had it that "Scientology" was to blame for the split of "TomKat."

Landing in the last spot of the list is the bombshell Kim Kardashian and basketball player Kris Humphries. Surprisingly, these two still managed to be on the list. Apparently the 72-day marriage of Kardashian and Humpries made a lot of people laugh out loud and no one has topped that record to date.
