Hollywood Hotties and their Charming Canines: From Miley Cyrus to Selena Gomez [PHOTOS]

Dogs may be a "man's best friend" but these lovely lady celebrities prove that the canine champ can be their pal as well.

From the miniature furry pals to the humongous slobbering kind, these dogs get the celebrity treatment as well. Take a look at Miley Cyrus' furry Maltipoo to Jessica Alba's pet Pug.

First off is the "OC's" very own, Rachel Bilson, who owns the most adorable Jack Russell Terrier named Thurman Merman. Everyone would pretty much agree that the dog has a weird name but it is quite catchy.

While Jessica Biel would look more of an actress who would prefer small play dogs, it would be the total opposite. Jessica owns a pit bull named Tina, whom she loves to go on strolls with husband-to-be, Justin Timberlake. Another stunning lady with the same first name is Jessica Alba who owns two adorable pups, an American Bull dog named Bowie and a cute pug named Sid.

Victoria's Secret Fashion Model Extraordinaire, Miranda Kerr, also owns a furry Yorkshire Terrier named Frankie. Hilariously though, the dog manages to emanate the model's vibe with its ridiculously expensive attires and its obvious glossy fur. Oscar winner, Natalie Portman, also has the same breed dog named Whiz whom she brings along even to awards shows. According to Natalie, Whiz also shares the same ingeniousness and intuition.

"He has this amazing intuition of knowing how people feel," said Natalie.

Disney Princesses also have this practice of adopting dogs as pets. First would be "Lizzie Maguire" star, Hilary Duff, who owns a Chihuahua named Lola. Next is "High School Musical's" Ashley Tisdale adorable pup named Maui that could be one of the most pampered pets in the planet.

Miley Cyrus owns over three dogs named Loco because the 18-year old claim "It's crazy", Juicy because of Miley's favorite clothing brand and her most recent addition, Minnie Pearl. Though it's quite rare to spot Vanessa Hudgens' dog nowadays due to Austin Butler, Vanessa's dog named Shadow is notable for winning Best Celebrity Pet at the 2009 Teen's Choice Award.

Last but not the least would be "Wizards of Waverly Place's'" Selena Gomez who owns a dog named Chipper. The "Love You like a Love Song" singer took to Twitter to share an adorable photo of her and Chipper cuddling on the floor. If that isn't enough to make people go "aw" then maybe Selena and Justin smooching is.
