"Holby City" cast members Sophia Verlaine as Nina, Guy Henry as Hanssen, Bob Barrett as Sacha and Eleanor Fanyinka as Morven will be featured in the show's upcoming episode titled "The Evolution of a Woman." It will air on Aug. 1 on BBC One. The new episode will show Nina trying an innovative way to do things at the hospital to impress people. Read on to learn more about it.

Nina strives to make a good impression

According to the medical drama's website, "Holby City" Series 19, episode 43 will show Nina wanting to make an impression now that she has been appointed in a new position. She will be bold enough to try a different path. Meanwhile, Hanssen will see a familiar face at Holby returning unexpectedly. This will shock him and leave him unsure of how this will affect the future.

Elsewhere, Sacha will talk proudly about his new friend, who happens to be a girl. The team is excited to meet the mysterious lady. However, they will be thoroughly surprised by what will happen.

Meanwhile, Morven wants to remain professional even after encountering various problems and devastating events, including Jasmine's (Lucinda Dryzek) death. It looks like she's struggling to cope with Jasmine's death, after all.

A sneak peek video of the episode also shows Nina having serious doubts after allowing Guy Self (John Michie) back into Holby City. Her colleagues will be worried about her decision. They will tell her to just listen to her intuition.

'Holby City' Season 19 episode 43: 'The Evolution of a Woman' stars

The other "Holby City" stars that will appear in this episode include Alex Walkinshaw as Adrian "Fletch" Fletcher, Christian Vit as Matteo Rossini, David Ajao as Damon Ford, David Ames as Dominic Copeland, Joe McFadden as Raffaello Di Lucca, Jemma Redgrave as Bernie Wolfe and Kaye Wragg as Essie Harrison. Hugh Quarshie as Ric Griffin, Edmund Derrington as Marley Pickard, Fraser Ayres as Alan Locke, Tracy Wiles as Julie Jeffries and Maggie Ollerenshaw as Helen Pickard will join them. "The Evolution of a Woman" was directed by Tracey Rooney and written by Simon Norman.

'Holby City' episodes: 'Baggage' and 'Go Ugly Early'

The episode before "The Evolution of a Woman" was "Baggage," which aired on July 25. It showed Donna (Jaye Jacobs) finding out who her true friends are. She also reluctantly revealed why she went back at Holby. Meanwhile, Nina pressured Matteo to finally sign the divorce papers. However, Matteo was hesitant to do so.

As for Sacha, he accidentally said something about Lofty which made Dominic inquire more about it. Needless to say, Dominic was surprised by what unfolded after his search for the truth. "Baggage" was written by Patrick Homes and directed by Tracey Rooney.
