“Hart of Dixie” star Jaime King receives criticisms for being thin even if she is pregnant. The star claims the bashing of women’s body need to stop, because everyone is different.

Mom-to-be Jaime King remains optimistic even if she is constantly bashed for being thin even if she is carrying a baby. Speaking with the American Baby magazine for its August issue (via E Online), the star shared that people have been rude to her and saying she needs to “eat a sandwich,” because she still maintains a thin frame while pregnant. She said it does not personally bother her because she observed the same happening to all other women in the business too. However, she stated this bashing and hating should stop. "I’ve seen it happen with other pregnant women in this business too — we’re either too thin or put on too much weight. But every woman’s body is different … All that matters is that you’re taking care of the nutrition for yourself and your child. Don’t let other people get you down, and don’t put other women down either,” she said. She added that if women would not learn to accept their own bodies, no one would be able to too.

Other than the rude comments, everything about her pregnancy excites her and her family. Her baby is due in August and her husband and 1-year old son James Knight cannot be more excited. When she announced that she was pregnant with her second baby, her son even flashed a sign that states he is going to be a big brother now and would be a “big boss.” The picture was posted on King’s Instagram.

Interestingly, she named her friend Taylor Swift as this second baby’s godmother. Swift recently threw King a baby shower, which was star-studded. Guests included Gigi Hadid, Sarah Hyland, Jessica Alba, Selma Blair, Nina Blair, Emma Roberts, and more. The expectant mother was overwhelmed by Swift’s efforts and took to Instagram to thank her. She said not only Swift would be a great godmother, she is certainly “one of the best friends one could ask for.” She lauded Swift’s taking the time and effort to throw her a party when she just finished performing for 100k strong less than 12 hours earlier.
