“Hart of Dixie” was officially cancelled after Season 4. Hollywood Reporter reveals that the show, created by Leila Gerstein, changed its schedule in Season 3, while the fourth season had a shortened run with only 10 episodes before the last three episodes in March 2015.

Since the show went off the air in May 2015, the cast has been busy with their personal lives and careers. While some managed to get involved in new projects, more of the stars seemed to be enjoying their time with family and new babies.

Wilson Bethel, who played Wade Kinsella, already had a new regular role in a series, together with “Hart of Dixie” executive producers Stephanie Savage and Josh Schwartz. He agreed to co-star in “Astronaut Wives Club” for 10 episodes on ABC. Hollywood Reporter also wrote that Wilson has a blind script deal with The CW and Warner Bros. Television to write a drama project.

As for Jaime King, who played Lemon Breeland, she welcomed her second child with husband Kyle Newman in July 2015. Glamour Magazine reveals that Taylor Swift is the godmother of their son Leo Thames. Swift posted a photo of herself with King and Leo on Instagram.

EOnline reports that Rachel Bilson, 34, who starred as Zoey Hart, recently posted a photo of herself holding a breast pump. She wrote, “Back to work…..” indicating that she was busy playing the role of a new mom to daughter Briar Rose with partner Hayden Christensen.

Scott Porter, who played George Tucker, was also busy welcoming his first son with wife Kelsey Mayfield in May 2015. He posted the news on Twitter, sharing that his wife and son McCoy Lee, are healthy and thanked people for the inspiration.

Cress Williams, who played Lavon Hayes, is set to have a recurring role in “Code Black,” a medical drama on CBS.

It remains to be seen whether “Hart of Dixie” Season 5 is possible at all. The show's fourth season recently premiered on Netflix.
