Halo fans who were not able to get a copy of “Halo 5: Guardians” or have been holding out for a limited edition console will not be disappointed. Microsoft’s expected blockbuster game for 2015 will have its own Xbox One limited edition.

This was revealed by 343 Industries’ Josh Holmes via Twitter, in response to a fan query. According to IGN, the limited edition is still in the works, but this is basically a confirmation of its existence.

“There is a limited edition console coming, yes. It hasn’t been revealed yet, but it’s pretty sweet,” said Holmes via Twitter.

“Halo 5: Guardians” still has around five months in the drawing board, but a number of information has already been released for the game. Still revealing some tidbits over at Twitter, Gamingbolt adds that as far as another beta is concerned, there are no plans for one as of yet.

Without divulging too much, Holmes also revealed a few technical details on the game. It appears that the overall design of the single and multiplayer campaigns for “Halo 5: Guardians” was founded on the Spartan abilities, though how exactly that plays out in the experience has yet to be revealed. There are also a new progression system in place, as well as new mechanics when unlocking new items in “Halo 5: Guardians.”

The latest “Halo” installment is also featuring a creative online viral marketing, which delves deeper into the origins of “Halo” hero Master Chief. Fans have been hooked with the ongoing coverage, as fictional investigator Benjamin Giraud tries to uncover and determine fact from fiction when it comes to the Master Chief’s past.

So far, Giraud has had to go through muddled records, with no way to pinpoint which exactly is the right track to follow. The last episode had seen him in a tight spot after conducting a controversial interview over at Waypoint. Instead of chasing his leads, Giraud has been advised to avoid the hot seat by just doing as he is told by the higher ups. It ended with him visiting the ONI branch headquarters.

In the latest Hunt the Truth episode, titled “Out of Time.” Tensions rise as Giraud has to face his higher ups following the supposedly botched up interview. However, at the ONI complex, there was actually a high-profile interviewee who had insider knowledge about the birth of the Master Chief in training and in the field as a Spartan. During the interview, one wrongly worded question sent a couple of military personnel shuffling, and ended with Giraud getting the boot from his job. And more interesting events and an even more interesting encounter happened after that. The complete episode can be heard over at the link above.
