While Bill Condon of Disney is busy searching for a suitable Belle in the adaptation of "Beauty and the Beast," Guillermo Del Toro of Warner Bros has released his hold on the film. Reports have it that Del Toro has dropped the film starring "Harry Potter's" Emma Watson. Does this mean "Beauty & the Beast" starring Watson is unlikely to be produced?

Following the success of Disney's "Maleficent," Disney is starting on another fairy tale adaptation and this time it's "Beauty and the Beast." In fact, they've already got a director in "Twilight's" Bill Condon. As for their Belle, reports claim Kristen Stewart has been eyed for the part.

"The process and the script for the movie are still in the beginning stages but as it fleshes out, Bill Condon has definitely thought of Kristen Stewart as a possible Belle," reports a source to Hollywood Life.

On the other hand, there is another "Beauty & the Beast" adaptation that stars "Harry Potter's" Emma Watson. Guillermo Del Toro is set to direct the film which was slated for production back in 2012. Additional reports in 2013 claim that despite the setbacks, Del Toro was set to push the production on the fairy tale.

"I hope so. Del Toro] always has so many things he's working on at once, so we're still putting it together. I hope so," stated Emma.

However, it appears that Del Toro has worked on too many things at once that he has dropped the adaptation on the fairy tale. According to Deadline, Del Toro has left the "Beauty & the Beast" production as the director. Yet, fans should fret not because the film is still set to push through with Emma Watson as the beloved Belle.

Denise Di Novi of "Crazy, Stupid, Love" will still produce the film with the help of Del Toro. As for Del Toro's other projects, the director has a film starring Charlie Hunnam in "Crimson Peak" and a vampire series "The Strain" set for release on FX by July 13.

On the other hand, Del Toro's Belle in "Beauty & the Beast," Emma Watson is apparently having a grand time in London. The actress was recently spotted sharing a kiss with boyfriend Matthew Janney in the streets of UK.
