This upcoming episode of “Grey’s Anatomy,” titled “Civil War,” will focus on two storylines running simultaneously. One will be about hospital politics and the mess it has been causing while the other will be about Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone) and Owen Hunt’s (Kevin McKidd) relationship.

Previously, viewers saw the band get back together as Alex Karev (Justin Chambers), Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) and Maggie Pierce (Kelly McCreary) returned to the house with Amelia. However, she had some feelings of discomfort as she felt that she did not belong there. Things got quite messed up and, later on, Meredith ended up getting suspended.

The official synopsis provides that the residents will be faced with a gruelling trauma case, which gets even worse with what is going on within the hospital. Despite all the drama happening, Amelia will wrestle with her feelings for Owen. Meredith will also discuss what she really feels deep inside with Nathan Riggs (Martin Henderson) and will get caught up between him and Alex when they scuffle over a patient. Of course, Alex should be aware that Meredith has Nathan’s back since she is in love with him.

The YouTube promo for season 13 episode 15 reveals that Jackson Prescott (Aaron Revfem) will confront his own mother Catherine Avery (Debbie Allen) regarding the Minnick situation at the hospital. Ever since the first day that Eliza Minnick (Marika Dominczyk) had been appointed as the head of the surgical residency program, it seemed everyone started to get into trouble. The doctors turned against each other and Meredith got herself suspended.

This finally gets on Jackson’s nerves and pushes him to want to do something about the problem. Being a representative of the Harper Avery Foundation, he is in the position make a considerable change.

In the teaser, Jackson can be seen blaming Catherine for the mess at their work place. He says that he is going to use his influence to rid the place of Minnick and get Webber (James Pickens Jr.) back. He gets told that as reps of the foundation, all that they can do is to oversee things. He adds that he has no authority to fire Minnick. Jackson says that she already broke that rule when she hired Minnick through Bailey (Chandra Wilson). He will do what he can and will try to take over Catherine’s position.

Season 13 episode 15 of “Grey’s Anatomy,” titled “Civil War,” will air on Thursday March 9 at 8 p.m. on ABC in the US. In Australia, it airs on Channel Seven.
