Samsung and Apple are already planning to unveil some awesome tablets and fans are wondering when Google will release its Nexus 7 2017 tab. Popularity of tablets have gone down significantly and it is not as lucrative as the smartphone market. However, demand for good products will always be there. That’s why, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 and Apple iPad Pro 2 are still widely-anticipated products. Google too reportedly has some amazing products lined up for this year, including Google Pixel 2.

There are various rumours pointing towards a Pixel successor, Pixel 2, in the smartphone category. However, if reports are to be believed, Google may also come up with a Nexus 7 2017 tablet during the latter half of the year. When the first Nexus 7 was launched in 2012, it came with an Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system. If Google come with a successor, it will surely have the latest Nougat OS for the best performance. There are also rumours suggesting a 7-inch display, AMOLED technology and 2,560 x 1,440 pixels screen resolution.

According to GigJets, the Google Nexus 7 2017 tab may come with an impressive Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, possibly SD 825 chip. The Google Pixel 2, on the other hand, is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor. The Nexus 7 processor will be couple with 64GB internal storage and 4GB RAM. If any of these rumours turn out to be true, the Google Nexus 7 2017 tab will turn out to be a hell of a device. Even Virtual Reality technology does not seem too farfetched, as it’s the next big thing.

It won’t be surprising if Nexus 7 2017 comes with Google VR Daydream. This can really make the device stand out from the rest or at least at par with the likes of Samsung and Apple. Meanwhile, many are calling the Google Pixel 2 concept a dream phone that everyone’s been waiting for. Even though Google is yet to announce its Pixel successor, top design artists and tech enthusiasts have created some pretty amazing concept videos. Rumours are rife regarding the specs of Pixel 2.

According to Trusted Reviews, the Google Pixel 2 could sport a 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display (534ppi) or 5.1-inch FHD AMOLED display (441ppi), all metal body, 6GB RAM, SD 835 chipset, a 16MP camera, an all-metal body, wireless charging, fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C ports, microSD slot, Android 8 OS and 32/64/128GB storage.
