The Google Nexus 5X is now available at a discounted price tag of $240 (AU$315) on eBay. It is a limited period offer that will run until the stocks lasts.

The LG Nexus 5X with the model number H791 and storage capacity of 16 GB is available for $240 (AU$315) on eBay. The ‘techno.trading.house’ seller from the retailer site that has a positive rating of 98.3 percent is selling the international unlocked version of the smartphone.

Currently, the seller is only selling the black variant of LG Nexus 5X. Its white variant has gone out of stock. The handset is compatible with all the GSM carriers of the U.S. such as AT&T and T-Mobile. However, it won’t work on CDMA networks like Sprint and Verizon Wireless.

The LG Nexus 5X is a refreshed edition of the well-acclaimed LG Nexus 5 from 2013. The Nexus 5X was released in October last year. It is a budget smartphone that features a 5.2-inch full HD screen that is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 layer.

It is powered by Snapdragon 808 chipset that also powers some of the flagship smartphones from 2015 such as LG G4, Microsoft Lumia 950 and Moto X Pure Edition. It comes in two storage versions of 16 GB and 32 GB, but lacks a microSD card slot.

It features a dual-LED enabled 12.3 MP rear-facing camera. The front side of the phone houses a 5 MP selfie snapper. It features a fingerprint reader as well as a USB Type-C connector. It comes preloaded with Android Marshmallow OS. It is packed with a huge battery of 2700 mAh capacity.

Rumors have it that Google is working with HTC to build a successor phones for Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P. It is also speculated to be working with Huawei to launch a 7-inch Nexus 7P tablet later this year.
