There are still more mysteries surrounding Kalinda Sharma (Archie Panjabi) that viewers have yet to see, “The Good Wife” co-creator Robert King told Entertainment Weekly. However, the show boss did not guarantee that Kalinda will return in the present timeline of the legal drama.

Still, Michelle King, Robert’s wife and fellow showrunner of “The Good Wife,” confirmed the viewers will see Kalinda Sharma again in “The Good Wife” Season 6 finale. EW also reported Wallace Shawn will reprise his role as Charles Lester in the final two episodes of the season.

In his interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Matt Czuchry has referred to what happens next in “The Good Wife” Season 7. (The series has yet to receive a formal renewal order from CBS.) In terms of a sense of closure with Kalinda, Matt said it is not happening for Cary in Season 6.

Czuchry also hinted at what happens next between Cary and Alicia (Julianna Margulies), as well as Cary and Diane (Christine Baranski). There will be another shift in character dynamics; it has a lot to do with the current situation in the firm that Cary and Alicia started.

“[“The Good Wife” Season 6 is] about laying the groundwork for what's to come in season seven,” Czuchry told THR, adding that seeing Alicia and Cary on opposite sides would be “interesting.”

“The Good Wife” Season 6, episode 21 is titled “Don’t Fail.” The finale episode title comes in question form: “Wanna Partner?”
