Former “Fashion Police” co-panelists Giuliana Rancic and Kelly Osbourne do not seem to have plans of letting their on-going frenzy die down anytime soon. Osbourne reportedly fired shots towards Rancic in a tweet on Monday, the same day of the latter’s interview with “Today” show.

Rancic, 40, appeared on Monday’s “Today” show to finally shed light to the “truth” behind her widely slammed criticism on Zendaya Coleman’s red carpet appearance during an episode of E!’s “Fashion Police.” This highly-publicized controversy became the sole reason of Osbourne’s departure from the show, with cohost Kathy Griffin following her out the door weeks later.

Rancic spoke to “Today” host Savannah Guthrie, blaming bad editing for her ill-received dreadlocks dig. That same day, Osbourne tweeted, “Liars ALWAYS get caught!,” which many have speculated was directed at the long-time “Fashion Police” star. "Kelly cannot understand why Giuliana keeps talking about editing when there was a whole audience and crew who heard and saw otherwise!" ET Online quoted a source, adding that Rancic should just have apologized and moved on.

Rancic, however, only brushed off the idea of her rival’s tweet being aimed towards her. “There's no way that can be about me, because I'm telling the truth,” she tells Extra. She also insisted that the “patchouli and weed” dreadlocks joke was written for her in reference to the hippie culture, admitting that although she wasn’t blaming the writer, she also thought it was a bad take on Coleman. She also revealed that she was not on the best terms with Osbourne and Griffin as of the moment and that she thought “nothing good” would come out by talking to or for either of them.

Rancic also admitted that the whole hullabaloo was a traumatic experience, emphasizing that it was one she would have never expected in her “wildest nightmares” to happen to her. “I was horrified to have my name in headlines that were insinuating that there were racial undertones,” she said. Despite this, she confirmed her return to co-host “Fashion Police,” despite earlier reports that she will also be quitting the show. She revealed that showrunners are currently not on the search to fill the empty seats left by the former high-profile panelists, but at the same time Rancic declared that the show’s comeback will be one she will be “proud to be on and that people are proud to watch.”
