'Girl Meets World' season 3 episode 9 spoilers: Lucas chooses between Maya and Riley, but new beginnings are coming in 'Girl Meets Ski Lodge Part 2'

With the love triangle drama taking the audience’s feelings to another plane, such appears to end as Lucas Friar (Peyton Meyer) will have to make a choice. The excitement, however, does not seem to stop there, as such decision might just give rise to new beginnings.

The official synopsis for the ninth episode of season 3 of the Disney series, titled “Girl Meets Ski Lodge Part 2,” says that things are starting to be clear with Lucas as the group’s ski trip starts to wind down. He is at that point where he will finally decide if he will be with Riley (Rowan Blanchard) or Maya (Sabrina Carpenter). According to Chatt Sports Net, fans are torn over who between Maya and Riley should end up with Lucas in the end, as both are equally charming and lovely in their own unique ways.
A post by Cartermatt, however, reveals that the love triangle as seen by the audience might not be really what it seems. It could even be that there was never one at all.
This is because love triangles, if there are any, are not meant to last for long and fans might even more excited to see what awaits them in the long run. It does not appear as though whoever fails to be chosen by Lucas might be doomed forever.
The circumstances might just make things more favourable for everyone and might even spell out the best ending possible for the show. For one, “Girl Meets Ski Lodge Part 1” ends with Riley meeting a new guy at the trip, which could turn into a romance if the show runners go to town with the idea.
After all, the show deals with teenagers, the many pressures and struggles of adolescence, their pure and innocent feelings and how they manage to conquer their struggles.
