Gigi Hadid reported to have helped Kendall Jenner, Nick Jonas date

Kendall Jenner and Nick Jonas are rumoured to be dating. While both young stars have yet to publicly confirm the news, a source claims Gigi Hadid played a part in the ongoing courtship between Kendall and Nick.

Hadid reportedly introduced her friend Kendall to Nick. Gigi, who is dating Nick’s older brother Joe, played matchmaker for selfless reasons. A source told US Weekly that the blonde model “wants Kendall around all the time” so she thought it would be fine to reintroduce her to the youngest of the Jonas brothers.

“They are all going to end up hanging out regardless, so it seems like a simple situation, which could be a lot of fun," the source said.

Another source revealed that Nick and Kendall had “flirty chemistry from the start” so Gigi and Joe’s matchmaking efforts might not go to waste after all. Kendall seems to have hit it off with Nick as they are reportedly now getting to know each other better over text.

The source further revealed to US Weekly that Nick is looking to date following his split from long-time girlfriend and former Miss Universe winner Olivia Culpo, whom he dated for nearly two years. The couple split in June.

There was an obvious attraction between Kendall and Nick, the source said. The singer reportedly thinks the 19-year old model is “hot.” The source added that Nick and Kendall are still on the courtship stage so they are taking things slow and keeping their dates private. So fans shouldn’t expect to see photos of them together just yet.

“When they're ready and it turns official, we’ll start seeing photos,” the source told US Weekly.

Mirror UK reports that Nick had previously acknowledged that his brother Joe and his girlfriend Gigi wanted to play matchmaker for a long time. Joe reportedly mentioned it a few times to the 22-year old “Jealous” singer, who took the suggestion with an open mind.

“We’ll see, I don’t know. I wouldn’t be opposed to it,” Nick said.

Nick had previous dated singers Miley Cyrus and Rita Ora. Kendall also previously dated One Direction singer Harry Styles and actor Julian Brooks.
