Gigi Hadid has been having a dream run in 2015 and the year is not even over. She is one of the hottest topics in both the fashion and entertainment worlds right now, thanks to her numerous modelling jobs and rumoured boyfriend, former One Direction member Zayn Malik. It also helps that she's friends with famous celebrities including Kendall Jenner and Taylor Swift.

The 20-year-old beauty has recently teamed up with fashion mogul Tommy Hilfiger for the new clothing line aptly named Gigi by Tommy Hilfiger. The Hadid-Hilfiger partnership does not come as a surprise, as the model appeared in a Caribbean-inspired bikini at Hilfiger's New York Fashion Week Spring 2016 show in September. She was joined by her sister and fellow model Bella, as well as Hailey Baldwin and Lizzy Jagger on the runway.

Gigi by Tommy Hilfiger will incorporate both Hadid and Hilfiger’s fashion style sense. The model will also star as the face of the campaign which is expected to debut next autumn.

“Global ambassadorships are a bit overused and not too exciting. We're really doing something different. We're creating a line called Gigi by Tommy Hilfiger, using her style, her sense, her social media presence as the top supermodel in the world today,” Hilfiger told The New York Times in a telephone interview.

Hadid is also appearing in Vogue’s January 2016 cover. According to hairstylist James Pecis, a £30 baker boy cap from JJ Hat Center was the single accessory that transformed the magazine cover. It made Hadid's look complete. Photographer Patrick Demarchelier is all praises for the stunning Victoria’s Secret model.

“Gigi is a dream to work with. She's super nice and professional - and has amazing hair! She was actually sick on the day and had a fever, but she's such a hard worker that you can't even tell. She totally turned that frown upside down!” Demarchelier told Vogue.

In 2015, Hadid has walked the ramp in 17 different shows which includes the "Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show." She also appeared in Vogue’s five different international issues and inked a major contract as Maybelline's brand ambassador. Hadid was also named Model of the Year by the First Annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards and was nominated as Choice Model for Teen Choice Awards.

However, the supermodel tag does not come easy. There are certain essential characteristics that are must-haves such as versatility, accessibility via social media, experience in other industries outside of fashion and a winning personality while off duty. According to MTV, Hadid is the only model right now to possess these characteristics. Fellow Victoria's Secret supermodel Cara Delevingne was a contender, but she has dropped out from the fashion world to focus on her acting career.

Hadid has also not restricted herself to just the world of fashion. She has successfully crossed over to the entertainment world by appearing in Taylor Swift’s music video “Bad Blood” and “How Deep Is Your Love” by Calvin Harris & Disciples. She also directed the video for “Cake By The Ocean” by DNCE.

Hadid is reportedly dating former One Direction (1D) singer-songwriter Zayn Malik. The latter even posted a black-and-white photo of them on his official Instagram account, which sent several tongues wagging.

As of this writing, it has earned over 760,000 likes. Meanwhile, Hadid's own Instagram account doesn't have any recent photos with the former 1D member yet. However, she did post a series of Polaroid photos. Incidentally, Malik's Instagram photo was also a Polaroid shot of them.

Before being linked to Malik, Hadid dated Australian singer Cody Simpson and Joe Jonas. She ended things with Simpson last May, while she recently broke up with Jonas in November. With her successful career, fame and high profile relationships, it's no wonder Gigi Hadid is having an amazing 2015.
