George Clooney proves how much he appreciates his wife's job as lawyer, as revealed on a recent interview, and would likely join her in Belfast as she takes on one of her challenging legal case to date. Amal Alammudin Clooney would be representing the “hooded men,” or the former IRA suspects claiming they were tortured by the British Army during the “Troubles” in 1971.

Amal Clooney is one of the legal members representing 14 former republican suspects claiming they were treated inhumanely and degradingly by the British Army. The men claimed that they were kept hooded at times and then forced to listen to static noise, not allowed to sleep, prohibited to eat and drink, and forced to stand in stress positions until they fell, which would garner them severe beatings. Amal is accusing the former prime minister Edward Heath for allowing torture to be used during internment and would travel to Belfast. George is expected to accompany her. "I’m embarrassed that I’ve never been properly there before now. I’ve been talking about going there for years and Bono has been trying to get me to do a bike ride around Ireland with him,” he said. “I’m definitely going to make a visit this summer," he added. He said Amal can surely show him around as she has been there numerous times already.

On a recent interview, George Clooney claims having a blissful married life with international lawyer wife and said he is proud of her job as a hotshot international lawyer. After their very public display of affection on the MET Gala red carpet last monday, Clooney asserted that life with Amal cannot be sweeter.

The “Tomorrowland” actor gushed to Entertainment Tonight how satisfied he is over his married life. He describes Amal as both amazing and caring, not to mention, smart and fun. Clooney shared that there are several reasons why he fell for the lawyer. He has no qualms with her job either, saying she looks really impressive while doing her job. "I'm always very proud of her when I see her speaking at the International Court of Appeals in Strasbourg, you know, with her robe on," he said. The actor joked however that the robe needs some sprucing up.

The actor also commented on his wife’s sense of style, saying Amal have a distinctive sense of style that is both eccentric and fun. Clooney personally said he cannot understand how Amal can still be both stylish and busy with work at the same time, although for his part, he said he enjoys watching her dress up. "How she does it while she's got 11 cases she's working on, and she was teaching at Columbia, and she's still like, 'I want to wear that dress.' It's crazy.” Clooney stated. The actor added that an extension of their closet is not enough to fit Amal’s clothes. Instead, a whole new bedroom just might be needed to fit all of Amal’s fashion pieces.

The two attended the red carpet for “Tomorrowland” on Saturday. They also bring Amal’s 13-year old niece Mia Alamuddin to the premiere, which has an uncanny semblance to her aunt. All three looked happy and excited for the movie. Amal used the opportunity to look her fashionable self again, wearing a nice mini dress that turned several people's heads.
