Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney celebrated his birthday on May 6, but the celebrations continued for him even the next day. The actor along with his wife Amal Clooney and her niece Mia arrived for dinner at the Japanese restaurant Asanebo in Studio City, California. It was a sushi dinner date for the threesome at the couple’s favourite restaurant.

George sported a casual look in a black leather jacket, navy collared shirt and denim jeans. The silver fox was the complete gentleman holding the door for his wife her as they headed inside the venue. Meanwhile Amal was dressed in a white one shoulder top and pair of distressed skinny jeans.

After her rocking Met Gala ensemble on May 4, the human rights lawyer was dressed down in an asymmetrical white top by Balenciaga. The minimalist top with its simple and classic single shoulder and structured shape added an interesting touch to her style. Amal paired her top with ripped Citizens of Humanity rocket high rise skinny jeans in Stage Coach.

The 37-year-old fashion icon added a touch of color to her outfit with Giambattista Valli pumps. The fabric and leather slingback pumps were in white and blue and accentuated her toned legs. She carried a matching python clutch. Amal sported her favourite bouncy blowout while her flawless make-up was highlighted with a pop of colour on her lips. The couple looked all loved-up. “It was just a casual dinner. They looked happy and relaxed,” a source told People. The insider added that they talked, kissed, stayed for a couple of hours and enjoyed the Omakase meal.

The “Tomorrowland” star rang in his 54th birthday with his wife and friends to his sprawling 7,354 sq ft home in Los Angeles. His celebrity pals included Rande Gerber and his wife supermodel Cindy Crawford, George’s best friend Grant Heslov who was pictured arriving at the gates carrying a brown bag of presents. There were around 50 guests at his birthday bash, which was organised in the backyard of the house. The guests and the birthday boy spent the evening mingling and laughing while smooth jazz and lounge music played in the background to set the mood. Cindy shared a picture from the party on her Instagram.
