'General Hospital' spoilers for Aug 22 – 26: Ava cooks up a sinister plan; things heat up between Kevin and Laura; Hayden makes a horrifying discovery
Emotions remain high at Port Charles as dramatic events continue to unfold on this week’s episodes of “General Hospital” (“GH”). On Monday, Ava (Maura West) is up to no good again, working on something evil to create a rift between Kiki (Hayley Erin) and Morgan (Bryan Craig). After the previous stunt that her mum pulled, Kiki thinks Ava has gone too far this time.
Meanwhile, the upcoming installments also tackle the budding romance between Laura (Genie Francis) and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom), as well as Hayden’s (Rebecca Budig) mounting problems. Other “General Hospital” cast members who will appear on the upcoming episodes include Liz (Rebecca Herbst), Carly (Laura Wright), Sonny (Maurice Benard), Lucy (Lynn Herring), Jordan (Vinessa Antoine), Nelle (Chloe Lanier), Andre (Anthony Montgomery), Naomi (Robin Riker), Molly (Haley Pullos), Finn (Michael Easton), Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Franco (Roger Howarth).

The show’s official website uploaded a preview video for Aug.22. In the trailer, Carly tells Sonny, “It will be a cold day in hell before I ever break bread with Ava Jerome.” Speaking of Ava, Kiki confronts her, “Is there anything you wouldn’t do to try to drive us apart?”
Meanwhile, Hayden overhears Laura seeking Elizabeth’s advice whether she should send Spencer to boarding school. “Over my dead body,” Hayden says. Lucy, on the other hand, wonders if Kevin has a date with Laura. Jordan wraps the trailer as she points a gun towards someone, ordering the person to freeze.
TV Guide reports that Monday’s installment also deals with a mysterious package received by Liz. Nelle, on the other hand, offers to give Carly a hand.
Tuesday’s run focuses on Morgan, who sits down with Sonny for a serious talk. Elsewhere, Liz relies on Franco and Kevin and Laura go out on a date.
On Wednesday, Finn clash with Obrecht, while Molly attempts to be a peacemaker between her mum and her sister. Meanwhile, Naomi’s world spins as she receives a disturbing call.
Thursday’s episode centres on Laura as she grills Kevin about something important, while Jordan receives words of wisdom from Andre. Elsewhere, Carly and Nelle’s friendship become deeper.
“GH” will wrap the week with an episode that features a renewed mother-and-daughter relationship. Meanwhile, Liz is having a difficult time with a big decision, while Hayden deals with some negative news.
