There’s no stopping Samsung from surprising its fans with a series of Galaxy smartphones: the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge likely to debut in January 2016 and the Galaxy A9 being spotted on GeekBench.

As of now, there’s a lot of buzz about the Galaxy A9, model name Samsung SM-A9000, which has yet to pass performance and memory tests on the cross-platform benchmark. The listing reveals features like a Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 processor; dual-core big.LITTLe with cortex-A72 cores and cortex-A53 cores for the smartphone.

A series of tests proved the A9 chipset performed excellently on single core the processor test, scoring 1446 while it achieved 4134 on the multi-core processor test. Other features include 3 GB of RAM and Android Lollipop v5.1.1.OS, reports Digit in.

Last month, the phone passed AnTuTu testing and this was mentioned on Weibo, the Chinese micro blogging site. The listing furnished features that seem to match recent BenchMark results. Fans will be happy to know the phone comes with a 5.5-inch full HD super-AMOLED display and 32 GB internal storage.

Last August, the Galaxy A8 was launched in India and the device has fared well. Packed with features like a 5.7-inch full HD display; 1.8GHz Exynos 5430 octa-core processor with 2 GB of RAM and a 3050 mAH battery, the phone is everything that you desire, reports First Post.

Also, the device has a 16 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera with a 32 GB internal memory that can be increased to 128 GB. Its full metal, unibody design brings more glitz to the whole facade.

Earlier this year, Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 620 along with 415, 618 and 425 chipsets with 64-bit architecture leveraged by 4G LTE networks. The company released its mid-range chipsets, the Snapdragon 430 and 617 processors, in September.

As of now, the buzz is the Samsung Galaxy S7 will host the Snapdragon 820 chipset.
