In a recent interview, Ellie Kendrick talked about her character Meera and her role in “Game of Thrones” Season 7. The actress pointed out that her character has been loyal and will continue to play that role as the story continues.

[Spoiler alert]

In an interview with MTV, Kendrick pointed out that Meera’s main job on the show right now is that of the protector. The character has been carrying Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) around for some time now, and will continue to do so in the next season.

“She’s not going to storm in there and tell everyone what to do. She’s the bodyguard,” Kendrick said about her character. The actress said that Meera sees her support to Bran as a duty, and pointed out that it’s in her blood to offer this help. The Reeds have always been loyal to the Starks, she explained.

But, the task of filming these scenes gets more challenging with each passing year. Kendrick said that Wright is getting taller every year and heavier, which makes it difficult for her to drag him in that sled.

Where are they headed in “Game of Thrones” Season 7? Kendrick neither confirmed nor denied that her character is heading towards Winterfell. Bran needs a heart tree for his visions, and the report points out that there is one in the ancestral home of the Starks.

The risk, however, is that by crossing the Wall; Bran could be responsible for giving the Night King and his army a way to break through and enter Westeros. With the TV series heading towards the finale, the final battle will be between the living against the army of the dead.

Before the final battle, there is the war between the Lannisters and the Targaryen army in “Game of Thrones” Season 7. Pictures posted on Watchers on the Wall shows the cast and crew preparing to film a major action sequence for the show involving Cersei’s (Lena Headey) forces.
