Now that Sansa Stark and Jon Snow have finally gained control of Winterfell back from Ramsay Bolton, fans of the show have began speculating where the storylines of both characters will end up next.

Some fans are rooting that, sooner or later, Jon might find himself romantically involved with the mother of dragons, Daenerys Targaryen, when she finally sets foot in Westeros, writes Time. Other fans also think that the new King in the North is already in the company of his future spouse. Some would say that based on the books and surrounding events which the show points to, Jon and Sansa could be destined to marry each other.

All of Sansa’s relationships were arranged and none of them were consensual, but it appears that the houses of Sansa’s romantic interests correspond to the order of the houses of the five champions as mentioned in the Ashford Tournament in “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms,” a prequel story to “A Song of Ice and Fire.” This might sound too bold of a plotline, but it is pointed out that George Martin is quite notorious for slipping in miniscule details that later explode into major points in the story. In this regard, it is noted that even the not so popular House Hardyng has been included.

The Week reports other issues that have been going around in the rumour mill for the next season of “Game of Thrones.” It is said the Daenerys will be paying the Dragonpit a visit in the seventh season. The cavernous ruin, which lies on the hills of King’s Landing, has often been teased as a location with a dragon flying around it. The location is featured in the books where it is depicted as a vast old building which houses the dragons of the Targaryens. It was later destroyed with only the ruins remaining.
