With the show racing towards the end game, the one question that many fans have on their mind is: Who is going to die in “Game of Thrones” season 7? One of the cast members may have inadvertently confirmed which character will live on and be a part of the show in 2018.

The following article contains minor spoilers about the next season of the popular HBO TV series. Readers who do not wish to know who will live on in the show should stop now.

Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) will not die in the next season. While speaking at the red carpet during the BAFTA awards held at Royal Albert Hall, the actress confirmed that she will be returning to film the final season of the show this year. The video of the full interview is available on the YouTube channel of HeyUGuys.

Turner will be doing a few movies before beginning work on the next installment of “X-Men.” After that, she will be returning to the set one last time to film scenes for the popular HBO TV series. The confirmation suggests that Sansa will not die in “Game of Thrones” season 7.

The confirmation may come as no surprise to fans who have been following the spoilers about the show. Sansa is expected to survive and rule the north this year.

According to the spoilers of the show compiled on Reddit, Sansa will be reunited with Arya (Maisie Williams), and the two sisters will manage the affairs of the North, while Jon Snow (Kit Harington) goes to meet Daenerys (Emilia Clarke).

While the last season teased the possibility of some tension between Sansa and Jon, that may not happen. Instead Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) will try to stirrup trouble between the two sisters, after judging how the siblings are not particularly fond of each other. The ploy, however, will not succeed, and Arya will execute Lord Baelish for his crimes.

The Starks, especially Snasa, have had it rough all these years. The next season will reportedly be a turnaround for the family, something that began last year with the capture of Winterfell.

“Game of Thrones” season 7 is set to return sometime this year. An exact premiere date hasn’t been revealed yet. The show can be watched on Foxtel in Australia. The show will also be available on Apple iTunes and Google Play, after the finale airs.
