The first full trailer of “Game of Thrones” season 7 should be released soon, according to a new report. With the release date just around the corner, a video teasing the plot and scenes is expected to shed some light on what happens next on the show.

A teaser titled “Long Walk” was released on March 30. The video showed Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) walking towards their respective seats of power, while the song “Sit Down” by James played in the background. The video also teased the arrival of winter, and with it the Night’s King.

Although this was the first proper video of the next season, it was not a full trailer. While waiting for the trailer, What Culture has crunched some numbers and suggests that the release of a new video is imminent. The report looks at the marketing timeline of posters, images and other teasers of the new season that have been released so far.

It seems the marketing team has a three week-long break before releasing any new material of “Game of Thrones” season 7. Now that it has been just over three weeks since the teaser has been released, the report suggests that it is time for the first full trailer.

The report had suggested May 11 to be the date when the trailer could be released. However, just as most things related to the show, this prediction turned out to be wrong.

That doesn’t mean there won’t be a trailer of “Game of Thrones” season 7 out soon. The producers can’t keep the fans waiting indefinitely, and the video has to be released. The TV series is scheduled to air on July 16, which doesn’t leave a lot of time for delay. The plot will focus on the final battles in Westeros, before the last fight against the White Walkers.
