“Game of Thrones” Season 6 has portrayed Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) as a woman in control after she suffered inexplicable torment since the start of the HBO high-fantasy drama series.

[Spoiler Alert] However, Sansa may not be a pro when it comes to taking war decisions. In the latest episode, “The Broken Man,” she wrote a mysterious letter to someone asking for help in terms of providing an army to take back North from her tormentor Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon). If that person is Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen), popularly known as Petyr Baelish, Sansa may have committed a big blunder.

Fans believe Sansa is too naive when it comes to matters of war, politics and diplomacy. “The Broken Man” showed Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Sansa going to every house in the North who had pledged allegiance to House Stark. The North seemed to have forgotten their pledge and none of the houses agreed to lend support in going against Ramsay, except Lyanna Mormont (Bella Ramsey) of House Mormont and the remaining Wildlings.

In fact, keeping the Wildlings in their army proved to be a deterrent for Jon and Sansa as many refused to fight with them on their side. Lyanna gave them only 62 men after being persuaded by Ser Davos (Liam Cunningham). While Jon wanted to attack Ramsay with whatever men he had as “Winter is Coming,” Sansa refused to accept Jon’s plan and secretly wrote a letter to a mysterious person.

Redditor CreepyPancakes zoomed on the letter that was partially visible on screen to find out that Sansa was perhaps asking for help from Littlefinger.

This gives a completely new direction to the plot, as Petyr Baelish has a viciously calculative mind, who does not think twice before backstabbing someone for personal gain. The only hope is that he really loves Sansa and won’t play his devilish game. Littlefinger is currently hanging around in the North with the army of the Eyrie, and will love this opportunity to jump back into the game.

Littlefinger is eagerly waiting to become the Warden of the North and won’t let this opportunity go. Even though his actions may seem favourable at first, he would definitely not risk everything for House Stark. After all, Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) is also watching.
