Tyrion will be seen with dragons in “Game of Thrones” Season 6, cast member Peter Dinklage teased in a recent interview. The actor described what it was like to film scenes with the giant creatures, by imagining their presence on the set.

[Spoiler alert]

Tyrion (Dinklage) is currently in Meereen, where he will attempt to bring order to the city from the shadowy Sons of the Harpy assassins. The trailers of the next season show Tyrion walking in the dark with a torch in his hand, which appears to be the dungeon where Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) locked her dragons previously.

In an interview with The New York Times, Dinklage revealed that he filmed a few scenes that involved dragons. The report exclaims how the actor let such a big spoiler slip, especially with the producers taking some extreme measures to make sure no secrets get leaked this time around.

Talking about what it was like to film scenes involving dragons; Dinklage explained that the giant beasts are only projections. He said that the visual effects team would show him the scene and the dragons on a computer, so he knew how to perform his scenes for “Game of Thrones” Season 6.

The report points out that a group of mathematicians declared Tyrion to be the protagonist of the book series “A Song of Ice and Fire” by George R.R. Martin, on which the TV show is based on. Dinklage, however, pointed out that no one is immortal in the fantasy world that Martin has created.

The actor joked that he keeps the producers of the show in his good graces by filling them with liquor and joy. A number of characters are expected to die in “Game of Thrones” Season 6, just as every year. Some of the fan favourite characters have died in the past and all the fans are eagerly waiting to see the fate of Jon Snow (Kit Harington).
