The different cities of Spain are expected to stand in for the different worlds in the fantasy world of Westeros and Essos. Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) and Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) are featured in the video.

The video also teases some of the scenes from the next season. One of the scenes shows Daenerys being accompanied by someone at what seems like Vaes Dothrak. There is also a scene of a group of Dothraki warriors riding near mountains.

Actor Tom Wlaschiha (Jaqen H’ghar) revealed that he filmed some of his scenes for “Game of Thrones” Season 6 at Girona, Spain. The city provided the medieval sets that were needed for the relevant scenes for the show. The video shows some of the exotic locations where the cast and crew filmed. Clarke admitted that it was “fun” to film at these locations.

Meanwhile, cast member Liam Cunningham teased that the next season will begin with a rest “chessboard,” Entertainment Weekly reports. The actor said that some of the characters will partner with new characters, following the events and deaths of the previous season.

“This year, it’s almost like you’re in a different drama series. There are new plans – and they’re enormous plans,” Cunningham said. The actor explained that the fans will get to see “new loyalties” in “Game of Thrones” Season 6 and there will be “new tensions” between characters where there was no tension before.
