A “secret” trailer of “Game of Thrones” Season 6, reportedly shown to the press at Austin, Texas, may have revealed the fate of Jon Snow. The possible return of the character has been one of the most talked about aspect of the show this time around.

[Spoiler alert]

The trailer was shown behind closed doors to the media at the SXSW trade show in Austin, Texas, Business Insider reports. The trailer apparently suggests that Jon Snow (Kit Harington) will be brought back to life by Melisandre (Carice Van Houten).

Melisandre returned to Castle Black after the battle between Stannis (Stephen Dillane) and the Boltons. The members of the Night’s Watch left the body of Jon Snow on the ground and she may be able to get the body intact. The Red Priestess previously saw Beric Dondarrion (Richard Dormer) being brought back to life, but whether she has the power to do it for Jon Snow remains to be seen.

The trailer shown in Texas is said to show Melisandre saying that she saw “him” in the flames, fighting at Winterfell. The dialogue comes right after a scene of Jon Snow’s dead body lying on the ground in a pool of blood, suggesting that she will bring him back in “Game of Thrones” Season 6.

Fans who expect Jon Snow to warg into his direwolf may be in for some disappointment. However, if the report turns out to be true, then the fans will get to see Harington alive and well in the next season.

“Game of Thrones” Season 6 is set to premiere on April 24. The trailers of the next season tease a major battle. The TV series is moving towards the end. The show is expected to end with Season 8, although HBO would like to see more seasons of the show.
