As “Game of Thrones” ("GOT") Season 6 draws closer to its much-anticipated launch, three new videos were recently released by HBO. The new clips provided more revelations on the events of the new season.

The first video featured Sansa (Sophie Turner) and Theon (Alfie Allen), revealing that they were not hurt after jumping off the walls of Winterfell to escape Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) during the Season 5 finale. The two were running in deep snow and the enemy seemed to be close behind with dogs sniffing their trail. At the end of the clip, they were both stopped by the sight of a raging river that blocked their way towards freedom.

The second video showed siblings Cersei (Lena Headey) and Jaimie Lannister (NikolajCoster-Waldau). Although their incestuous relationship has always been a struggle, it appears that the death of Myrcella (Aimee Richardson) will bring the two closer together. Cersei was grieving over the death of her daughter, while Jaimie was doing his best to console her.

After suffering at the hands of the Tyrells and the High Sparrow, Cersei is expected to show her wrath upon everyone who wronged her. Her return to the castle will most likely feature her strategising on how to exact revenge on her enemies and gaining full control over King’s Landing.

The third video focused on Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke). Although she appeared to be subject to the will of a new band of Dorthraki at the end of Season 5, the new clip revealed that she may actually gain more help in the near future. She was led into Vaes Dothrak, a trading city of the horsemen and welcomed as their Khaleesi. She might finally gather all the help she needs to claim the Iron Throne.

In the meantime, Arya (Maisie Williams) and Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) will also have struggles and new missions of their own.

Coming Soon states that Season 6 Episode 1 is titled “Red Woman.” The episode description stated that Jon Snow (Kit Harington) is dead, Daenerys meets a strong man and Cersei gets to see her daughter again. The first episode was written by executive producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss and directed by Jeremy Podeswa.

“Game of Thrones” Season 5 will premiere on April 24, 2016 on HBO.
