The season premiere of the third season of Game of Thrones has got fans gripping on their seats with much anticipation and excitement. Here are the episode's top moments on photos.

The episode opened with the cowardly Samwell being chased by a white walker, to be rescued by the direwolf and a pack of the night's watch. Jon Snow's meeting with Mance Ryder elevated the excitement, with Ryder even blurting that Snow being enamored with Ygritte as his reason to join the Wildings.

Tyrion Lannister, after being brutally wounded in the battle of the Blackwater, is seen recuperating in a hidden dungeon. Traitor sister, Cersei pays a visit, only to intimidate the already downtrodden defender of King's Landing. Tyrion went on to see his father, Tywin, to claim his rights to Casterly Rock, which was ultimately denied by his father, even calling him demeaning names.

Lady Margaery Tyrell went on a stop in an orphanage in the place where her new husband, King Joffrey, was mauled before. Margaery is then described to be involved in charity work in the past, having a soft spot for orphans. Unfortunately, the dubious Cersei do not believe this act of hers, boiling up the hidden conflict between the Lannisters even more.

Khaleesi is seen in her battle ship, with her dragons growing steadfast, "but not fast enough." She then seeks to purchase slave soldiers, in Astapor where she was almost assassinated by warlocks. The mother of dragons is saved by Ser Barristan Selmy, a former Kingsguard commander who pledges his loyalty to Khaleesi.

Just one episode aired and fans are already raving about the coming events of this most-watched series in television today.
