Now that season 3 has premiered, shocking news was released by HBO Watch stating that the famous actor portraying the clever Tyrion Lannister will be replaced when season 4 premieres next year. How true are the rumors?

Apparently, all the fuss is only an elaborate April Fool's prank pulled by the website, stating Warwick Davis will continue Dinklage's legacy. Warwick Davis is more famously known as the lead actor in the British mockumetary, Life Is Too Short. Davis has built his career carrying out vertically challenged roles, most famously as an ewok in Star Wars, and in Willow.

In the fake news, HBO Watch even released a "statement" by the show's creator, George R.R. Martin.

"Warwick was actually my pick back in 2009 when we first began looking at potential cast members. It finally hit me last week while taking an indefinite break from writing The Winds of Winter to catch up on some of my favorite movies. I think it was his epic role in Willow that finally convinced me. Such wit. Such... tenderness."

Fans reacted to the fake news with such rage, saying that the show will be ruined without Dinklage as Tyrion.

"OUTRAGEOUS, THIS WOULD RUIN THE SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" said one commenter.

Not to worry, fans can breathe a sigh of relief since Dinklage and the producers of the show have no plans replacing the award-winning actor and potentially ruining a huge fan base. Last year, it was reported that Emilia Clark, the actress who plays Daenerys Targaryen, will also be replaced. It also turned out to be an April Fool's joke.

It looks like fans and readers of the HBO crossover hit will continue to see more of Dinklage and how his fate is unraveled as Tyrion Lannister.
