"Frozen 2" is happening and it has been confirmed by none other than singer Idina Menzel herself. The gorgeous singer, who is behind the voice of the character Elsa from the movie "Frozen," told a news website that the highest-grossing animated film of all time is sure to get a sequel.

Menzel, whose song "Let It Go" from "Frozen" won the "Song of the Year" award at the Oscars, told the Daily Telegraph that the sequel of the movie and its musical are something the fans of the Disney flick can look forward to.

"That they're all in the works, ha ha!" said the Oscar-winning actress to the website. Idina, however, is not sure when the stage show will happen. "Ah, yeah sure... Not the stage show - I don't know what will happen with that - but the movie hopefully. We'll see. I'm just going along for the ride," Idina said to the website.

The news about "Frozen" sequel has also been confirmed by actress Georgina Haig, who plays Elsa in "Once Upon a Time," according to ign.com.

Meanwhile, the ex-wife of Tyga Diggs has also announced a world tour. The announcement was welcomed by Menzel's fans and they flocked to her website to book tickets in advance. Idina's website crashed due to surge in traffic.

The "Let It Go" songstress will kick start her world tour starting 2015 and has plans for more than 40 stops in North America alone. The 42-year-old will make her first stop in Richmond, Virginia on July 7, 2015 at the Altria Theater, followed by stops in various cities, including Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Austin, Boston and Chicago. The Jewish singer will finally conclude the North American leg of her world tour at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Oct. 3. Idina has not announced the dates for her International tour yet. The tickets for Idina Menzel will go on sale from Dec. 5 for general public on Live Nation and Menzel's official site. Read more about it here.
