Dialogue for “Frozen 2” will be recorded soon. Cast member Jonathan Groff has confirmed that he will be heading to the studio in a few weeks to record his part of the script.

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Groff (Kristoff) confirmed that he has been called by the producers to record his lines. The actor may be at the studio in a few weeks or by next month.

Details of the plot are kept secret even from the cast members at this point. Groff will only be allowed to see his section of the script. The actor said he is “excited” to record the dialogue.

After the phenomenal success of the first movie, Groff is excited to be in the sequel. The actor praised the team behind the first film, directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck and songwriters Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who will also be returning for the sequel.

“I’m just excited that I’m in it [laughs], you know? Excited to be in it and that creative team is also just so amazing, so I’m excited to get back in a room with them and play around.… The four of them are such an awesome team and I really, really love them,” Groff said.

After delivering a hit performance in the 2013 title, Groff reprised his role as Kristoff in the animation short “Frozen Fever” and will be lending his voice again in the short film “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure,” which is releasing on Nov 22 in the US. “Frozen 2” is scheduled to be released on Nov 27, 2019 in the US. The release date for Australia hasn’t been announced yet.

Since the film is still in the early stages of development, fans may not get to hear anything about it in the upcoming D23 Expo. Disney will, however, show a sneak peek of “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure” during the event.
