Microsoft has reportedly released a brand new Windows 10 build 10061. This particular build/update apparently brings in several bug fixes, user interface enhancements, in addition to offering the new Mail and Calendar applications.

With the new Windows 10 build 10061, the tech giant has apparently added a new “black system theme” specific to a slew of core user interface aspects. Notably, this black system theme covers the Start Menu, Taskbar and even Action Center. In addition, Microsoft has also enhanced the Windows 10 tablet mode dubbed “Continuum.” Therefore, it is now reportedly easier to click on the core buttons as they have been made larger in size with the new update. Windows Blog says, “Entering Tablet Mode causes the Start button, Cortana and the Task View buttons to all grow in size and space out to be more touchable.” Regular Microsoft Surface tablet users might know that, the experience of switching from the tablet mode to desktop mode has not been very smooth, notes Tech Crunch. Therefore, the new enhancement that comes with the Windows 10 build 10061 will be of great help to the Surface users.

Speaking of key bug fixes, Windows Blog says, “Visual Studio will no longer crash when creating a new Universal app project.” Furthermore, the company has also fixed the problem with Outlook where the indexing of new email was not working earlier. Moreover, the tech giant has also fixed the issue pertaining to Hyper-V enablement.

On the other hand, Microsoft has also apparently fixed several issues specific to the new browser Project Spartan. This means, Spartan users can now double-click on the title bar to maximize the window. Plus, changes to the alignment of the “Favorites Bar” have apparently been made in the new build.

It is worth reminding that, Microsoft released a new build 10052 of Windows 10 for phones very recently. In addition, this new Windows 10 build 10061 has been released only yesterday i.e. April 22. As the Microsoft Build conference scheduled for next week nears close, the pace at which the tech giant has been rolling out the updates has become even more faster, says Tech Crunch.

Also, Windows blog says, the Windows 10 Technical Preview build 10061 will be made available to Fast Ring (Windows Insiders) via Windows Update. In case, readers would not like to wait for the update, they can manually install the update by navigating to Settings -> Update and security -> Windows Updates -> Click the “Check for updates” button.
