Known for his role as a Russian gangster in the FX "Sons of Anarchy," Dimitri Diatchenko was charged on Tuesday, Dec. 9, in Los Angeles with animal cruelty after he killed and ate his ex's pet bunny. Currently facing felony counts and making grave threats to his ex-girlfriend, the veteran actor have small roles in "Indiana Jones and he Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," "How I Met Your Mother" and most recently he appeared in the comedy sit-com "2 Broke Girls."

"Diatchenko skinned the pet, cooked it and ate half of it while sending her step-by-step pictures of what he did," according to statement from Los Angeles District's Attorney's office posted on Mirror. "When she returned, the defendant allegedly told her he would do the same to her."

A love that turned into a fatal attraction, Diatchenko and his ex-girlfriend reportedly ended their relationship months ago but they are still living under the same roof. When she decided to end their domestic relationship, the 46-year-old star who sucker punch Chuck Norris in "Walker, Texas Ranger" is out of a Los Angeles jail on bail and refused to comment about the criminal charges.

Based on NY Daily News, if found guilty the North Hollywood-based actor will face four years and eight months in prison. Named Miss Ella on his Facebook page, the bunny's photo is a frequent post on the actor's wall although it's not been confirmed if it's the same rabbit that he allegedly killed.

Born in San Francisco, the professional bad guy studied acting at Florida State University and music at Stetson University in Florida. Other acting credits include "Family Guy," "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody," "Bones," "The Wild Thornberry's" and he provided voice for video games, including Call of Duty.

Meanwhile, Diatchenko's former show "Sons of Anarchy" premiered its final episode on Tuesday as Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) capped it seven-year saga with FX. The biker drama series ended its seventh season with a bang with SAMCRO's president meeting his fate at the end of "Sons of Anarchy" Season 7, episode 13's "Papa's Goods."

Written by Kurt Sutter, the blood and mayhem-filled show got its fitting ending as the troubled president wiped all the bad guys in Charming and died on the process. By offering his life for the sake of his two sons, Abel and Thomas, Jax left them in Nero and Wendy's care as they drive off to a place away from Charming.
