Only a week or so after its release, 2K Games has released the first update for “WWE 2K16.” The update fixes a number of issues that have plagued some gamers during a number of gameplay sessions, whether it’s online play with other players or the title’s various single-player modes like My Career or Showcase.

A detailed list of fixes was revealed on the official 2K forums, showing a number of improvements made for various issues that players were experiencing with the game. One of the major fixes made were the eliminations of warping in the game, where opponents would end up in different parts of the ring after performing certain moves.

There have also been huge improvements made over issues that would occur with content from the game’s creation suite. Superstars with custom made attires will no longer be invisible after winning a match, which was very distracting to say the least.

Improvements have also been made with the game’s audio department. Lilian Garcia will now formerly introduce custom wrestlers who are champions and correctly announce custom championships as well. An issue involving the lack of a sound effect after certain moves were done was also fixed, though fans are still going to have to bear with the game’s commentary.

Weird issues from My Career and 2K Showcase have also been dealt with. There was a cutscene in Showcase where Steve Austin wouldn’t properly appear with Bret Hart in the 1996 Survivor Series and would even be invisible in rare occasions.

As for My Career, the latest patch ensures that the rivalries will be reset once they’re finished. Additionally, players who sided against the Authority will no longer face Sting, who has also sided against them.

What’s really interesting with the patch is the preparation for the upcoming “New Moves Pack,” which Attack of the Fanboy mentioned. This has been a common piece of downloadable content (DLC) for the WWE games, but this is the first time it will be the first DLC pack to come to the game. No release date for the pack has been revealed yet, but more details for it are expected in the week.

“WWE 2K16” is available now for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360. The list of fixes are only for the PS4 and Xbox One versions, with no news on a last-gen update just yet.
