Following the shocking news that Charlie Hunnam dropped out from the film, fans have been demanding that his onscreen partner, Dakota Johnson, be fired as well. Given Johnson was chosen for Anastasia Steele due to her "tangible chemistry" with Hunnam, with Charlie out of the picture it's natural that Dakota leaves the film too.

"Sons of Anarchy" star, Charlie Hunnam officially dropped the part of Christian Grey in the upcoming film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey." Sources claim Hunnam jumped ship due to "schedule conflicts." This is quite the contradiction given producer Dana Brunetti claimed they chose actors for the lead parts who had "availability."

"There is a lot that goes into casting that isn't just looks. Talent, availability, their desire to do it, chemistry with other actor, etc," stated Brunetti on his Twitter account.

Ironically, Hunnam only realized a month after getting cast as Christian that he might not be available for production after all. Now that Hunnam is out of the film, fans against the original cast demand that Dakota Johnson be fired from the set as well.

The reason Dakota Johnson was cast for the part of Anastasia Steele was her "tangible chemistry" with Charlie Hunnam. Obviously, with Hunnam gone, there won't be chemistry with a replacement actor which could potentially damage the film.

With only a few months left before production is set to begin, should producers stick to their original actress for Anastasia Steele or replace Dakota as well? Sure enough fans of E.L. James have different opinions on the matter at hand. For now, the question is: Would Dakota Johnson leave or would she be fired from the film?
