There might be a problem with Charlie Hunnam as Christian Grey for "Fifty Shades of Grey" after all. Surprisingly, after defending himself from all the fan hate after the controversial casting, rumours claim Charlie isn't too keen about playing the part of Grey. In fact, the report goes on to claim that Charlie wasn't "into" the part.

Not everyone who has read the erotica novels by E.L. James had imagined Charlie Hunnam as Christian Grey. Obviously, fans wanted Matt Bomer for the part given the online petition that sparked a few hours after James made the announcement via her Twitter account. Even after 85,000 signatures and counting, there is unlikely a chance that Charlie Hunnam would be replaced for the part.

If Hunnam had strong opinions recently about the part of Grey, his "Sons of Anarchy" boss, Kurt Sutter claims Hunnam wasn't "really into" the part for the film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey."

"There's a lot of predetermined expectations," stated Sutter in a report by Opposing Views, adding, "At the end of the day, and my advice to him was, 'Look at the material. Don't look at the history. Don't look at where it potentially could be going. Look at the material and look at the people you're working with. If it makes sense, then move forward.'"

"I think that's what he did. It was a very thoughtful process, I think based on all the right decisions. It was not about notoriety. It was not about money. So I think it's cool, man," continued Kurt Sutter.

Hopefully, Charlie's initial doubts about the film and the part have already been cleared. For one, E.L. James was keen on choosing the "Sons of Anarchy" star for the part.
