Even after having announced the final cast for the lead parts of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele for "Fifty Shades of Grey", fans are the least bit pleased. In fact, some have already started a petition against the official cast online. The movie casting drama continues with "Fifty" fans demanding that favourites Matt Bomer and Alexis Bledel be recast.

Earlier this week, E.L. James shocked quite a few fans when she announced via Twitter the cast for the upcoming film adaptation of her best-selling erotica novel. While some readers were pleased with the choices, a handful of supporters were appalled. Charlie Hunnam of "Sons of Anarchy" and Dakota Johnson of "The Social Network" were anything but Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.

Long-time favourites for the roles, Matt Bomer and Alexis Bledel, weren't even considered by producers for the part. This would explain the angry mob online. Given the cast, fans have started an online petition in the hopes of recasting the parts of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.

"Matt Bomer is the PERFECT DESCRIPTION OF CHRISTIAN GREY AND ALEXIS BLEDEL IS THE PERFECT ACTRESS TO REPRESENT ANASTASIA STEELE and if THEY ARE NOT, NOBODY WILL BE. And I read the whole trilogy and I can assure that Matt is the perfect actor for this movie and Alexis too," reads the petition on Change.org, adding, "So please PLEASE, all of the GREYsessed and Bomerettes in the world NEED those actors. They always will be for us the Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. WE CAN DO ANYTHING GUYS, ANYTHING."

Would all this drama even bear fruit? Knowing E.L. James, who is a woman of her word, recasting won't be possible especially with the film set to begin for production this fall. Fans will just have to accept the fact Bomer and Bledel won't be taking part in the film adaptation.
