After Universal Studios and Focus Features finally announced the cast for Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, fans are desperately praying for better casting choices for Kate Kavanagh. A handful of blonde and beautiful celebrities were already named potentials for the part. The top three for the role of Kate Kavanagh include Elizabeth Olsen, Amber Heard and Diana Agron.

Author E.L. James finally made the announcement of the "Fifty Shades of Grey" lead roles over her Twitter account. Charlie Hunnam of "Pacific Rim" and Dakota Johnson of "21 Jump Street" will officially be playing the roles of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, respectively. Like Dana Brunetti stated a few weeks back, fans were certainly disappointed with the choices.

Of course, readers are still hoping that the production studio and author James would eye much suitable actresses for the part of Kate Kavanagh. Kavanagh, Steele's best friend, plays a big part in the novels. Kate is described as incredibly beautiful but with a tongue to kill. Luckily, Hollywood has a plethora of actresses fit for the part.

The top three fan favourites for Kate include Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen's younger sister, Elizabeth Olsen, Johnny Depp's girlfriend Amber Heard and Diana Agron. "Gossip Girl's" Blake Lively was initially the top contender for the part, but rumour has itwith her pregnancy plans she'd unlikely be in the film.
